Sharon specializes in accelerating growth and change for individual leaders and their teams and organizations. For nearly thirty years Sharon has partnered with executives to build the culture, develop the leadership, and implement the strategic changes needed for their organization’s success. Clients have ranged from Fortune 50 to start-ups in tech, biopharma, health care, education, and the occasional family-owned business, including Aruba Networks, AutoQuotes, Cisco, Citigroup, DHL, K12, Noah’s Bagels, Proteus Biomedical, Ruckus Wireless, Stanford HealthCare/School of Medicine, Roche, and Vium.
Sharon has long been affiliated with the leadership curriculum at Stanford GSB, where she has taught in both the MBA and Executive MBA programs, and has designed or facilitated numerous courses. She led Organization Change & Effectiveness practices at two specialty consulting firms, M Squared and 54th Street Partners, and launched and led Cisco’s global Change Leadership Center.
Sharon is an internationally known speaker and author on topics of Leadership, Change Management, Emotional Intelligence, and Personality Type. The second edition of her book, Introduction to MBTI® and Leadership, was published in 2016 by CPP, Inc. Sharon graduated from Stanford GSB, back before email was a “thing.” She lives in Palo Alto, California, where she runs Richmond Associates, hangs out with her amazing husband and daughter, and makes notes for the next few books she needs to write.
